Privacy Policy
- Membership of MUST Research is personal and is only available to individuals over the age of 16 years.
- The membership and benefits cannot be transferred to or used by anyone else.
- The MUST Research member, also known as "MUSTan" consents to and accepts registration and processing of personal information by MUST Research in accordance with prevailing legislation and these membership terms and conditions.
- MUST Research is responsible for processing the personal information, a member agrees to provide.
- MUST Research can post members' names and professional network links in the website.
- Members have the right to inspect or correct own personal information given to MUST Research.
- Membership can be obtained by filling up MUST Research "Join" or "Register" form and payment of membership or studentship fee to designated bank account of MUST Research.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Membership fees are irreversible. Fees once paid will not be refunded by MUST Research and a member will avail all the facilities provided to all the members till the tenure of his or her membership expires.
- Members have right to choose to renew or not renew their membership at the end of their membership tenure. Notifications will be sent to members prior to the tenure expiry date. Members have to send email to the administrator to get approval for renewal. Applications would be evaluated based on his or her consistency, contribution and commitment towards the community.
- At the end of membership tenure, if a member chooses not to renew, all privileges to access MUST Research communication forums will be revoked however, the historic membership information will remain in MUST Research website "Members".
- Membership of a member can be revoked by MUST Research governing body at any time if the member is found guilty.
- Membership can be revoked if a member is found posting obscene or vulgar content in any of the MUST Research forums and social networking sites.
- Membership can be revoked if any member is found guilty of using proprietary content of MUST Research for own personal benefit without notifying MUST Research before for approval.
- Membership can be revoked if complaints are lodged against any member by other members and MUST Research governing body finds enough evidence about the complaint to be true.
- Membership can be revoked if any member is found guilty of using MUST Research communication forums and social networking site for spreading any spam message, advertising without consent of MUST Research, spreading content of racism, sexism or to offend LGBT right.
- Warnings will be given to accused members based on the severity of the incident and will be solely decided by MUST Research governing body.
- In case of cancellation of membership, no membership fee will be refunded to the member.
Representaion Policy
- MUST Research will hold its General Meetings also known as "MUSTer" in all the locations possible and prior notice will be given through all the communication channels. Any member is free to attend any location meeting as feasible.
- MUST Research will be taking part in conferences, hackathons, workshops or similar tech events. All members are encouraged to join these events under the banner of MUST Research.
- If members get invite or intimate to participate in such events from MUST Research and other members of MUST Research, and if they agree to attend, they have to represent MUST Research, and not as individual or a part of any other organization or academia they are part of.
- If members get invite or intimate to participate in such events not from MUST Research, they can represent MUST Research, or as individual or a part of any other organization or academia they are part of.
Licensing and Copyright Policy
- MUST Research does not claim any copyright on the program code written by its members as part of a project. However, the club, academy or labs reserves all rights to keep a copy of the code written. MUST Research also will have rights to further modify this version of code without notifying the author. The projects done by a member can be showcased by MUST Research at any forum at any time in future.
- MUST encourages the culture of bringing own project ideas and work on it with fellow members. However, such ideas and willingness to work on it, must be brought to the attention of governing body before pursuing. Members must not work in silos.
- While working on a project, a member must not use any software, code library, documentation etc. without appropriate license in place. Members must not use any license that was acquired on behalf of individual by any other organization. That being said, usage of any material in a project is sole responsibility of members. Any dispute that may arise in future due to improper usage of artifacts must be resolved by the member, even if the individual is not a member of MUST Research at that time. By this, MUST Research disclaims any responsibility towards improper usage of any material during a project development.
General Policy
- All the general members barring governing body members have equal rights and opportunities in MUST Research and will be treated equally without any designation.
- These "Terms and Conditions" published on MUST Research website are to be considered as applicable.
- These "Terms and Conditions" are subject to change without prior notice. Members must review them periodically and ensure adherence.
